10 years ago, we introduced the first Bluetooth-enabled laser distance meter. Using the DISTO Transfer software, Chief Architect users could pull accurate measurements straight out of a DISTO and into a plan.
That was a big improvement over capturing measurements with a pencil, but to really get the most out of it you had to bring your laptop to the job site. 10 years ago that was pretty cool, but now we have computers in our pockets that make the laptops from 10 years ago look like laptops from 10 years ago.
Chief Architect's free Room Planner app turns your phone or tablet into bridge between a DISTO and Chief Architect: Drop precise measurements onto a plan while you are on site, upload the plan to your cloud account, then import it into Chief Architect later.
